Accountability, Role and Function
The Armenian Ministries Facilitator, Rev. Paul Doctorian, is accountable to the Multicultural Ministries USA/Canada regional office and his primary function is to implement the agreed-upon policies and strategies for evangelism and strengthening of existing structures on the various districts of the Church of the Nazarene. Strategic Readiness Team
Each Facilitator works with a Strategic Readiness Team. Strategic Readiness Teams meet annually to pray, plan and strategize for their perspective ethnic group in the USA/Canada. The African Ministries Strategic Readiness Team is comprised of African pastors that have been approved by their District Superintendent and the Multicultural Ministries Director. They are Rev. Plan of Action
The Armenian Strategy Committee met along with a group of lay leaders at the Armenian Pasadena Church of the Nazarene. Dr. Paul Doctorian, Armenian facilitator, organized and facilitated the meeting. Roberto Hodgson, Multicultural director shared devotional thoughts on Jesus’s Principal for the Mission. He presented the mission statement of the Multicultural Ministries office and also discussed the “Five Key Strategies for the USA/Canada region.
The Strategy Committee and the participant leaders agreed to develop a strategic plan for the following: Prayer - Pastor’s meetings - Cooperation among the churches - Training - Starting New Congregations - Joint Celebration(s) The Strategy committee will work on the details of the strategic plan implementation.
