A Compassionate Ministry Center (CMC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of the economically disadvantaged in the community. Nazarene Compassionate Ministries USA/Canada partners with Nazarene interests to facilitate these ministries which address temporal as well as spiritual needs. These organizations may be affiliated with a local church.
There are approximately 180 registered Compassionate Ministry Centers in the United States and Canada, with budgets ranging in size from $5,000 to over $4 million. They provide services to their communities in a variety of areas.
These nonprofit ministry centers provide support to the poor and suffering in their communities. They help share the love of Christ to the world in a tangible, sacrificial way. Your church ministry or committed group can incorporate as a nonprofit and become a Compassionate Ministry Center.
